Rue
Name: Rue
Age: (immortal)
Race: Freed Spirit
Story: [Bloodlines Apocrypha]
Personality:
Friendly, casually flirtatious, and filled with a seemingly inexhaustible enthusiasm for all the novelties life has to offer, Rue makes friends easily and would far rather laugh than frown. She chooses to see only the best in anyone she meets; she's reluctant to tie herself down though, and doesn't get close to any of her many admirers. Her sunny nature has seen her through the rise and fall of centuries with a smile on her face.
Backstory:
A Freed Spirit who makes her home in Iram, nobody is entirely certain how long Rue's been a part of the ancient desert city; she's a frequent face among the busy streets, and seems to want nothing more than to live a surprisingly mundane life. By day she makes a living as a dancer and singer in the Daymarket and Brightwater Square, earning a living so she has the money to indulge in the finer things that she enjoys so much. She makes no secret of being a Freed Spirit, but is so benign that her presence isn't any cause for concern.
Rue has an uncanny sense of prophecy, likely coming from her nature as a Freed Spirit. Though it seems to be a gift that's largely out of her control, she'll sometimes gift her knowledge of the future to those she meets; those who try to force her gifts, however, quickly discover the immortal is far more dangerous than she lets on.
With other characters:
(n/a)
Additional Notes:
- Rue has digitigrade (backjointed) legs that become furred and feline midway down the thigh
- eyes are faintly luminous, particularly in low light
