Backstory:
A Reaper who devoted himself wholly to his duty, Rei practiced fierce self-denial in favor of service to his god and there are very few who had any sort of close relationship with him. He was known for slipping out of sight for years or decades, attending only to his Fate-given responsibilities and avoiding any sort of bond with Genesis or his people. It was only in the last years of his life, after being befriended by (and subsequently losing) a Seraph child named Robin, that Rei made any effort to connect with humanity once again.
Rei is remembered for his role in re-sealing the vampiric god of vengeance when he threatened to escape his prison, but would consider his connections with Robin and Amira more definitive of who he was as a person.
With Other Characters:
Amira: known to each other for only a few days and lovers for a single night, Amira reminded Rei that even the mildest of people can show courage far beyond any expectations.
Robin: a Seraph boy who became friends with Rei and helped free him when he was imprisoned by the Seraphs; Rei came to think of him as the son he never had, and a reminder that life shouldn't be wasted.
Additional Notes:
- Rei's wings are modeled after a peregrine falcon; dark on the outside, flecked white on the underside.
- should always be drawn wearing the Reaper pendant
