Modern!Llir
Name: Llir Owens
Age: 18
Race: human
Story: ???
About:
Quiet and a bit shy, Llir's a high school senior with aspirations of being a doctor someday. He's an excellent student, and maybe a little too studious; though not exactly bad with other people, he's devoted so much time to maintaining his grades that there's not time for much else, including close friends. His spare time is usually spent at home, helping out around the house or buried in a book. Though family is very important to him, he's most often alone; his mom works two jobs to make ends meet, and his older brother Lugh moved out years ago. Llir's pretty good at keeping his own company.
Though he's had one or two casual girlfriends in the past, Llir doesn't really have any sexual experience and isn't in any major rush to change that. He figures things will happen when they happen, and it isn't any sort of priority right now. Part of him misses having the companionship of a relationship, but at the same time he's aware that he'll be leaving for college in a year and doesn't want to start anything that'll have to end then.
Appearance:
Average height, and slender leaning towards scrawny (a source of constant dismay for his mother). He's pretty pale from a Welsh background, and has sandy blonde hair that falls midway to his shoulders and is usually in need to a trim. Though his resting expression is fairly serious, he's quick to smile when engaged in a conversation and has a generally pleasant demeanor overall. His typical clothing is pretty plain; comfortable pants, a t-shirt, and a zippered sweater, all in neutral colors. It's definitely not the height of fashion, but it's good clothing that's lasted him a long time.
Llir has mismatched eyes, with one grayish-brown and the other blue. The blue eye isn't natural; it had originally matched his other eye, but changed color during an abrupt childhood illness. Though this had alarmed his parents enormously, being a potential warning sign for any number of diseases and disorders, nothing he was tested came up positive and eventually the color change was just accepted. Llir still wonders about this; it's part of what initially fueled his interest in medicine.
