Judgement
Name: (no true name)
Age: immortal (appears youthful and androgynous)
Race: angel of judgement
Story: [Heavensfar]
Personality:
Cold and mute, utterly merciless and unfeeling. Relentless in pursuit of its chosen prey. While it shows some measure of purpose in its mission, it's quite possible that it's gone completely insane; angels of judgement are supposed to be largely incapable of independent thought or action, and this one has clearly gone beyond its intended role of an impassive force of nature.
Backstory:
Once paired with an angel of retribution--whose final fate remains unknown--Judgement has been displaced by the utter chaos in Heaven. Descending into the mortal world, it has been stalking and destroying fallen angels to consume the vestiges of divine power they retain; it's theorized that it intends to use this power to attempt to restore some semblance of order in Heaven, but in reality gaining that level of power is highly unlikely and it's probably just insane.
It appears that Judgement originally mistook Anriel for a fallen angel when it chose him as prey; however, realizing that he's still a guardinal very much in possession of his power doesn't seem to have deterred it.
Additional Notes:
- halo is physical and attaches to the wing/cloak structure just above the shoulderblades
- 'cloak' and hood transitions from bonelike near the torso and wings to leathery at the hood and 'streamers'
- if drawn in flight, wing struts constantly break and reform
