Joshua Seraph
Name: Joshua Seraph
Age: 41 at time of death
Race: Seraph
Story: [Bloodlines]
Personality:
Dignified, principled, and fair. Dedicated to leading his family and keeping them safe in their crusade against the Reaper; he was willing to shed blood when conflict arose, but didn't have the same fanatical dedication to the Seraph cause as his father before him. Deeply devoted to his wife and son.
Backstory:
Born during a time of vicious conflict between the Seraphs and the Reaper, Joshua was raised in secret among humans for his own safekeeping. He was brought back to the family once he came of age and was considered strong enough to be trained into his intended role as Ak'har's successor. Though he did so more out of a sense of duty than any real dedication to the Immortal Flame, Joshua took power as Huntlord and was widely regarded as a strong and well-respected leader.
The last near-decade of his life was defined by a vicious conflict with the Reaper Kenneth Hunter, who held Joshua responsible for the death of his family. Though the attack had actually been ordered without Joshua's knowledge, he ended up paying the price for it and was killed by Kenneth in front of his son, Darius.
With Other Characters:
Darius: Joshua's much-loved son, who adored him in return. Darius was only a child at the time of Joshua's death.
Maria: beloved wife and his constant supporter; the two had a rare marriage for love and were inseparable.
Kenneth Hunter: a bitter enemy, far beyond the natural enmity between Reapers and Seraphs.
