Hunter - Avatar of Fate
ALTERNATE FORM - ENTERVOID ARMAGEDDON 2020
Granted by his god in order to help destroy Void City, this form represents Hunter fully embracing his powers as the Reaper. He gains access to new abilities he doesn't normally have, as well as strengthened versions of those he's used in the past.
Since he first came to Void City years ago, Hunter's been on an on-again, off-again mission to find the reason his was drawn there in the first place; a fate-dead person, someone who's escaped their time to die and draws misfortune and disaster like a lightningrod until killed. His task was complicated for years by a mysterious aura over the city that prevented him from seeing the 'fate lines' that would normally help him find his target. Now, however, he's come to the terrible realization that this absence was actually caused by a significant percentage of Void's inhabitants being fate-dead due to the rampant use of necromancy within the city.
Sickened by this revelation, Hunter has (whether rightly or wrongly) come to the conclusion that the only real solution is to destroy the city in its entirety and end the constant churn of chaos and disaster that it generates. With Gray's enthusiastic help, he's bargained with Fate to become an open channel to the god's power and use it to facilitate a massive spell that will bring Hell up through the city, eliminating all those who live within it. The decision torments him, but he legitimately believes it's the only way to prevent what he sees as the city's sickness from spreading to the world entire.

OFFENSIVE
The Red Blade
While still accessible to be called or dismissed at a moment's notice, Hunter will use this weapon less than he would under normal circumstances. He'll favor it mostly for 'finishing blows', due to its ability to send even fate-dead individuals properly to the afterlife rather than leaving the potential for them to transform into powerful ghosts.
Energy Attacks
An open conduit to Fate's raw power takes a heavy toll on a mortal body, and can be seen cracking Hunter's skin around his eyes and the pendant embedded in his chest. His attacks have shifted heavily from physical to magical to try and relieve this pressure via blasts of pure energy. His blood has also taken on some of these properties and will have corrosive properties.
Shadow Manipulation
In the past, Hunter could use shadows to jump between short distances and provide mass for clothing, his wings, and shapeshifting into his second form. Now he can use it on a much larger scale, quickly shaping it into tangible attacks and shields.
Skinwalker's Gift (alternate form)
Hunter retains his ability to shift into his alternate form, a semi-armored griffin-like creature that increases his size and physical strength.
DEFENSIVE
Regeneration & Pain Resistance
While a Reaper always has access to fasthealing, in this form Hunter's ability to heal wounds is further enhanced by melding his human body with shadow. He can now recover from massive wounds and regenerate limbs within minutes; however, the amount of power in his blood has turned it corrosive to anyone not linked to Fate and it can no longer be used to externally heal others.
Power Share
Due to the amount of times he's healed Gray with his blood, Hunter is capable of sharing part of the power flowing through him to empower her abilities. This link is maintained magically so long as Hunter is alive, and requires no physical contact or conscious effort. It could potentially be interrupted if he is knocked unconscious.
Altered Mental State
With his mind directly linked to his god, Hunter may seem more detached or inhuman compared to his normal self. His normal level of empathy and emotion will be dampened, though he shows slightly increased intelligence and an intuitive sense for what's happening around him.
MOBILITY
Flight
As always, Hunter retains his wings and the ability to fly with good manueverability.
Shadow Jumping
Hunter maintains his ability to use shadows as gateways between places within a short distance of one another.
