Orion
Name: Orion (true name unknown)
Age: immortal (appears mid-early thirties)
Race: fallen angel
Story: [Heavensfar]
Personality:
Dignified and commanding, level-headed. Though most fallen are mentally unstable due to the strain of repeated amnesia, Orion retains more sense of self than most and is very much in control of his mental faculties. He is a loner, but is respected by others within the city's homeless population.
Backstory:
Cast out of Heaven at some point in the past, assumedly for doubting the will of the Throne, Orion has wandered the earth for an unknown length of time. Though immortal, he is unaware of his angelic origin due to the amnesia that afflicts all fallen angels; his memory is confined to the last few years of his life, and anything beyond that point fades away. This constant erosion of memory makes it very hard to build any sort of stable life, and like most fallen Orion is a transient who lives on the streets.
However, he seems to have found a method to retain some sense of self, rather than slipping into madness like most of his kind: a cluster of scars on the back of his left hand, likely self-inflicted, map out the Orion's Belt cluster of stars. He's taken his name from these stars, and seems to hold onto them as a source of identity. Anriel has theorized that the sight of these particular stars was Orion's source of appearance when he was still an angel, which could suggest why the fallen associates so heavily with them despite having forgotten everything else about his past.
With Other Characters:
Anriel (Heavensfar): though not close, the two have met before. When he is stalked by Judgement, Orion turns to the guardian for aid.
Judgement (Heavensfar): while Orion doesn't remember the truth of the angels, he is determined to escape Judgement.
Additional Notes:
- has mismatched eyes, a feature shared by all fallen angels
- tall and lanky
