Diana Seraph
Name: Diana Seraph, later known as the Pale Lady
Age: 24 at time of death, now immortal
Race: formerly Seraph, now a pale rider/ white rider spirit
Story:
Personality:
Very kind, empathic towards others. Growing up as the least valued of her generation despite her modest abilities, she has very little sense of self-worth; her feelings are hurt easily and she takes criticism harshly. Shy and keeps to herself, both among her family and in public. She lacks the viciousness and dedication of most Seraphs.
In her later role as the Pale Lady, she's much happier and more self-assured. She has a purpose that she's chosen for herself, and takes to death quite well.
Backstory:
Certainly the most quickly-dismissed of her generation, Diana grew up largely in the shadow of her cousins. Her lack of aggression was noted early on, and she was turned over for training as a healer; she's worked closely with her aunt Maria, and despite her family's regard for her has become fairly talented. She's harbored an unrequited crush on Darius since they were both children.
Far later in the story, a series of unfortunate events leads up to Diana taking her own life rather than being executed by her family (and by extension, condemned to an eternity of torment in the realm of the Seraphs' demon god). As a suicide she's taken into the service of Siarus, the Cycle god, and finds that she rather likes the job. She transitions willingly into a Pale Rider.
Additional Notes:
- can be drawn with her mask up or down; the mask itself is silver and featureless
- throat is cut when drawn as the Pale Lady
